[intrepid alpha1] sound regression / no media playback on MacBook (second gen)

Bug Description

after upgrading to intrepid alpha1 I can no longer playback media. Some sounds do work, like the drum-beat at login and output from espeak will work. I can not playback any media (.flac, .ogg, etc).

A workaround in the thread is brought up:
"It's been said on here, just change to alsa mixer in sound prefs until PA fixed."

After fiddling with the sound pref's my sound is back.

I would guess this should be assigned to 'gnome-sound-properties', as changing settings there seems to have fixed the issue. As per Niels comment above, changing the mixer settings to "ALSA" caused the sound to work properly again.

that's a workaround the issue seems to be a pulseaudio one.
