Evolution doesn't show missed alarms on setup

Bug Description

Since upgrading to Breezy, Evolution no longer shows missed calendar alarms at
start up. This has caused me to miss several important notifications, and I am
sure it affects other people who rely on this feature of Evolution. I have
looked around on the internet, and this doesn't seem to be an intentional
change, so I am filing it as a bug. If you know how to fix this, please let me
know.

there will be changes in alarm ui in future that will take care
of missed alarms. confirming this .

also to avoid some valid use cases like if a person is opening his evolution after
a vacation in which he might have had a lot of appointments (unimportant)...
he shouldn't be bombarded with alarms .. needs a good ui change.

Perhaps we could display missed alarms for the current day for now."

This upload fixes the issue:

evolution (2.5.2-0ubuntu1) dapper; urgency=low

   * Sync with Debian.
   * New upstream version:
     New Features:
     - New Event / Meeting Editor dialog
     - Hula Account setup plugin
     Bugzilla bugs fixed:
     - Added accelerators for Next and Previous message
     - Fixes a memory build-up, while creating a new meeting with new category
     - Fix to show Free/Busy information for organiser
     - Fix to reduce the size of time window in free/busy to avoid the scroll
       of widget in the wrong direction. It Shows only 35 days in the canvas.
     - Fixed a crash in evolution, when calendar is removed,
       remove it from publishing.
     - Fixed a alarm issue to popup for exchange, by obtaining correct key
       for a authenticated calendar
     - Show only alarms starting from today for missed alarms
     - Fix to addressbook print to use specified page size
     - In contact editor, move focus automatically to next field,
       after setting phone from the menus
     - Fix to rememberpublishing recipents in converting mail to task plugin
     - Renamed 'Meetings and Tasks' to 'Calendar and Tasks' in Preferences

     - Category syncing in todo-conduits
     - Adjust the Date/Time widgets to take actual size in meeting/event page
