9 trash bins on gnome panel

Binary package hint: yelp

after installing today's updates & restarting the sysem, 10 trash bins have appeared on the gnome panel. i suppose these represents all the attempts to restore the trash bin before the update.

i mean 9 extra trash bins, in total there are 10.

Did the update request that you restart your computer? There is a possibility that when you tried to add the trash icons before hand they might have not shown up until you logged in again.

Sorry I just noticed that you already said that you had to restart your system. What I think happened was that you tried to add the trash icons before hand and they didn't show up so you tried again... Then when you ran the system updates and it restarted your computer they suddenly were all visible. Am I correct?

no, i don't think it was a bug after all. the first time i tried
removing the trash bins from the panel after the reboot required by the
updates, i did not succeed. but after another reboot, i could remove
(and add) items on the gnome panel. before today's updates, i a problem
similar to that of bug 49594. so the updates must have taken care of
the bug.

not a bug! i succeeded in removing the 9 trash bins from the gnome panel after a 2nd reboot. thanks!
