Todays update on prerelease 8.04 deleted firefox 3 Beta

Bug Description

Todays Ubuntu Update Deleted Firefox 3 Beta.
Originally had Pre Release 8.04 Version.
Have been doing all updates.
Todays Update asked to remove obsolete Programs that may have been installed in a pre release version.
I answered yes and after update Firefox 3 was gone. Also the "Report a bug" menu Item didn't work.
Firefox 3 was gone from menu.
I installed SeaMonkey to get online to report this.

this was a transitional -proposed issue due to some packages not yet
being available temporarily. This wont happen when we roll things to
-updates. So not an issue
