No sound in monkey bubble

If you download monkey bubble and compile it manually (e.g. by doing the following), there should be an audio test application, can you tell me whether this works:

cd monkey-bubble-X.Y.Z
./configure && make

I can confirm that I also have no sound. I attempted your manual build but it failed:

Monkey-Bubble 0.4.0 is supposed to fix the missing audio (although it's still not perfect yet).

Comfirmed. This will be fixed by upgrading to 0.4.0 once Edgy has got a package for it.
