gtk-qt-engine-kde4 should be installed by default in Kubuntu

Bug Description

I request that this package be included by default in the future (asap) so people with favourite applications like Firefox can have a useable application aesthetic-wise when they install these GTK apps.

At the moment, if users don't ask about this, then they will just put it down to being a 'glitch' or otherwise. Firefox is very popular with K/new users.

As I do not see a voting mechanism in Launchpad, I am simply meToo++ this bug. However, as Harald mentioned, there are some issues to address first, namely:

It looks like a serious rendering issue regarding gtk-qt-engine-kde4 has not been addressed:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223274 (Widgets are in square box of background colour)
