Bug Description

<https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=firefox> shows that there are many PPAs that include Firefox packages.

However, none of these packages are mentioned in <https://launchpad.net/firefox/+packages>.

[Originally suggested by Martin Pool.]

At-least the daily builds from the Mozilla team should be mentioned/linked in the packages page.

Is there any point implementing this now that distro source package pages show PPAs with the package?

As far as I can tell, this page doesn't even link to the distribution source package page, so I don't think that's really a useful substitute.

Jono, here's a good example of something that's not all-Soyuz or all-Registry. Comments are welcome.

This is a valid bug, something that we should fix. It's particularly relevant to the daily builds stuff.

Organizationally, I think either the soyuz team or the registry team should feel comfortable fixing the bug, and that when we think it's high enough priority we should schedule it against a team with spare capacity.

This requires redesign of a registry page to change its scope/intent. project/+packages is abount links between project series and distro (ubuntu) series in hte form of packaging links. These page shows Packagings, not SourcePacackages (the thing in the distro series) or BinaryPackageReleases (the things in the archive)

Packages in PPAs is a different kind of data and they are used differently. This may be important, but the use case how how it wil be used by users. When I think about showing packages in PPAs, I think about dismantling +downloads and replacing it with something that shows the packages in distros, PPA, and file releases.
