hardy doesn't ask for password - intermittent

Bug Description

Over the past week Kubuntu 8.04 doesn't ask for login password. Instead of asking for the login password it goes directly to the KDE. I does this about every third or fourth login. I does this after being hibernated, restart, or turnoff; I have never used suspend.
