Synaptic window not resizable when launched from update-notifier

Bug Description

When updating software, the synaptic window (showing all the files being
downloaded with several progress bars) is normally resizable. But when synaptic
is launched from the notification zone (update-notifier ?), this same window is
never resizable.

Thank you for your bug, I have been able to reproduce it on an up-to-date Breezy
system. Update-manager does not specify that the window should not be resizable.

Any news about this ? If you agree that this window should be resizable, I guess
I can provide a patch quickly since this seems to be an easy change.

This is fixed in the current version in dapper, please reopen if you still have the problem (and tell me what steps to take to reproudce).
