Bug Description

Since upgrading to the -16 kernel in Kubuntu Hardy updated since alpha3 I cannot get my network card to be activated.

Neither at boot nor manually.

Card: SiS900 PCI Fast Ethernet

I can continue with kernel -14 but that is not the idea is it?

Hello i have the same problem. I have had the same problem updating from ubuntu 7.04 to 8.04.(sis900)
Have read some bug report and found that bug 48263 is quite similar to the problem I experience. But instead of mouse freezing, my keyboard repeat a key 12-15 times every minute or so.
the last kernel i know work is 2.6.22-15.54-generic

Per a decision made by the Ubuntu Kernel Team, bugs will longer be assigned to the ubuntu-kernel-team in Launchpad as part of the bug triage process. The ubuntu-kernel-team is being unassigned from this bug report. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies for more information. Thanks.
