Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
When you cancel a file copy operation in nautilus, it leaves the uncompleted copy on the target.
1. Select a (large) file in nautilus.
2. Select 'Copy'.
3. Select 'Paste'.
4. While the copy is in progress, press the red cross at end of the progress bar to cancel the copy.
5. The copy will be cancelled but the file newly created remains, but it will only be a partial copy, eg 100 MB out of 500 MB. Otherwise, though, it will appear to the user that the copy completed.
This also happens if you copy a file to another folder or partition, or whether you are moving a file to another partition (ie during the copy phase of the move).
I would expect that the target file should be deleted since the copy failed to complete.
Version info:
Hardy 8.04 beta
nautilus 1:2.22.2-0ubuntu3
