Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-15-generic

The results is that my wireless network card doesnt work anymore. See output of lspci for model.

Wireless stops working b43 which did work on last kernel dont work anymore.

Temporary workaround: blacklist ssb and b43. Use ndiswrapper instead with windows bcmwl5.inf driver

Apparently kernel 2.6.25 solves this issue according to some comments in bug #197959.

Confirming as per comments and own experience.
This was working in earlier 2.6.24 packages, so I don't think we need 2.6.25 to get working b43.
