Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

It seems with the latest iteration of g-s-m that the new smooth-scrolling graphs are very CPU intensive on my machine (nvidia-glx-new, GF6600, AMD 3000+). Also some of the custome widgets render incorrectly upon resizing the g-s-m window. See screenshot below.

This is not a duplicate of bug #93847; that bug predates the new graphs in Hardy and has to do with high CPU usage even when not on the Resources tab.

Which process is claiming to be the CPU hog? Perhaps it is Xorg, and therefore a duplicate of bug #187383? I have this same problem, and used top in a terminal while switching g-s-m tabs to find this out.

Hewus, you're right. They're both related to the updates in Resources. Thanks for catching.
