Bug Description

Quicklists / right-clicking on a dash item to see recent documents (or other items) is not working on my install of Ubuntu, with the exception of the File Manager. Not working for Libre Office and Okular. See image.

Ubuntu 22.10, Gnome 43.1

I'm starting to suspect this is application specific like bug 1730201, so reworded.

OK, thanks. In addition to LO it is also not working for Okular.

libreoffice has to provide such information to the dock, I don't thin this is the case.

I can report that:
- i installed Dash to Panel, quicklists are also not working there.
- I update Ubuntu my software, now getting quicklists (recent items) on none of the items in the Dash, also not for the File Manager any longer. Not with the default dash or with Dash to Panel. In the regular Dash, the default file manager does show bookmarked locations, but not recent folders.
- I do get other items when I right click on the dash icons, such as currently open items + some fixed items such as Home, Computer and Wastebasket for the file manager.
- other file managers than the default one have the same result as the default one, also no recent folders

OK so I asked both the people at LibreOffice and Gnome:

A dev at LibreOffice [did quite some additional tests](https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155680) and is convinced this is an Ubuntu / Gnome / Dash to Panel issue, and not a LibreOffice issue. THis is consistent with reports that I've seen of quicklists/jumplists working on other distros such as Xubuntu.

Also, [at Gnome they think](https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/6398) this is regulated at a dash level, so it does appear that here is the right place to report this and ask for this feature.
