splay doesn't produce any sound for AAC audio

Bug detailed descriptions:

splay from helix-dbus-server_0.242-beta2_lpia.deb doesn't produce any sound for AAC
audio.

Reproduce steps:
----------------

1. Install Moblin: http://umd-repo.jf.intel.com/repos/users/inuka/Beta6_install.img and
Helix: http://umd-build.jf.intel.com/build-results-proprietary/helix-dbus-server-
atlas/lpia/helix-dbus-server_0.242-beta2_lpia.deb .

2. Download BlackBird.mp4, BlackBird.aac, BlackBird.adts.aac from ftp://xwu2-
image.jf.intel.com/restricted/dm/menlow/tiny-
test-set/

BlackBird.mp4 - AAC in MPEG4 file format.
BlackBird.aac - AAC in ADIFF file format.
BlackBird.adts.aac - AAC in ADTS file format.

3. Run "./splay
/root/tv/tiny-test-set/BlackBird.mp4" and other files.

Current result:

It starts to play, but no sound produced:

I suppose that this is bug in Helix AAC codec. If so it's serious.
When Moblin M9 will be?

Halley - do you have update for this issue? Reopen to track the issue.

Jessica has bug that mp4 container doesn't support ac3, is the same issue here?
