Bug Description

Binary package hint: umbrello-kde4

This really makes kde4-umbrello unusable for me.
Bug is apperently fixed upstream ( http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157152 )

This should be fixed in KDE 4.0.3 which is going to be part of 8.04

I am still affected by this defect despite running KDE 4.0.3 and Ubuntu 8.04 with all patches.

Sorry, my system is fully patched but Unbrello still uses KDE 4.0.3. How would a novice Hardy user normally come to be using KDE 4.2? Would that be a feature of intrepid?

Yes, you'd need to upgrade to intrepid and enable the intrepid-backport repositories.
(We also dropped the -kde4 package names since Intrepid)

I've upgraded to Intrepid and Umbrello now reports the following version information:

Umbrello UML Modeller
Version 2.1.4
Using KDE 4.1.4 (KDE 4.1.4)

Exporting individual diagrams and all diagrams works without error.

Since I've only the one system and its used commercially every day I'm a little nervous upgrading any higher than the default 8.10 in order to regression test under 4.2.

Anyway, thanks for testing. Testing in KDE 4.1 is probably sufficient to confirm that this bug is fixed. If it reappears in newer versions of Kubuntu/KDE, we can always reopen this report. Thanks again.

Hum, I'm sorry but I can't migrate to Intrepid :(. Have you got a solution to correct this bug on hardy? Even if I've got to compile the project...
