warning about .dmrc, although .dmrc is existing

Bug Description

Im getting that a $HOME/.dmrc file is not existing or has the wrong permissions,
although such a file is existing an has the right permissions, but is actually
empty. (I created it after the first time I got the warning)

Check your write permision to your $HOME directory. You should have: drwxr-xr-x.

thanks, that was it - it worked after I changed the permissions to 755.
But its still a bit weird, because it was 775 before...

I'm closing the bug as NOTABUG, that's probably not gdm which changed the
directory mode. Feel free to reopen if you disagree
