Bug Description

Version: 1:1.4.0-0ubuntu0hoary2 (according to Kynaptic)

I'm using the recently released KOffice 1.4 packages for Kubuntu. When I start Karbon, it asks me to select a
template to create a document. The "Empty Document" template is the only available template and is selected by
default, so I click "OK". Then it crashes.

Backtrace:

When I tried to commit this bug, with "karbon" as package name, bugzilla said I had to enter a component? I had absolutely
no idea what I did wrong, there wasn't any field where I could enter a name of a component on the page. Anyway, I figured
out that it worked if I typed in "UNKNOWN". A bit strange IMO, and very user unfriendly.

hanks for your bug report. However, Karbon is a part of the 'universe'
component, so its bugs are not currently tracked in this system. Bugs for these
packages should be reported to Malone:
