kontact will not include weather in summary

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kweather

I really don't know whether this is a kontact bug or a kweather one. I lean toward it being a kweather one, so that's the package I've identified in this bug report.

Running 64-bit gutsy.

Nothing I do ever succeeds in causing the weather service to appear in the kontact summary view. The weather service is running fine, and it displays on the panel correctly, but even with the "Weather Service" checked on the "Summary View Items" kontact configuration dialogue, there is no sign of the weather on the summary screen.

I have tried logging out and logging back in again, in case somehow kontact required that in order realise that it is supposed to be displaying the weather in the summary view, but that was no help.

It's even worse, I think.

I installed kweather in 8.10, but the option to look at the weather doesn't even exist in the kontact summary (before, when I originally reported this bug, I believe that the option was present, IIRC but it simply didn't work).

(I logged out and back in. No difference.)

What information? I answered your question nearly a year ago.

You asked if it was reproducible in 8.10 and I said that it was even worse. What information did I not give you?

N7DR, because has been passed a long time since was reported, nothing else. If possible that you try to reproduce this problem in latest Ubuntu Karmic version would be great?

same problem under karmic RC
i've installed kontakt 4.3.2-0ubunt6 and kweather_4%253a4.3.2-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
as a miniprogram it runns nice, but in kontakt i can't find it :-(

HINT: (light-)years ago I had the same problem under suse, but I forgot, which hint solved the problem, and can't find the infos about it.
