Making a link on Kubunto Gutsy desktop crashes KDE desktop

Bug Description

I use standard KDE desktop on Gutsy running on AMD64 computer.
When I try to make a desktop link to show hard drives, it crashes desktop.

This isn't an issue with the folderview widget in Kubuntu Intrepid.
