Upper panel becomes black when display turns on after sleep

Bug Description

My display goes to sleep when inactive for 5 minutes and when it turns back on again the upper panel is all black.
I'm using Gutsy with the extra visual effects.

I don't know if it is a gnome-panel bug or compiz.

I took two screenshots to see the problem
