I can confirm this. I saw this error only with compiz and an nvidia graphics card with the option "RenderAccell" setted to "On".
Can you please attach the output of the command (if any)
grep RenderAccel /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Yeah man, the same problem here...

I'm using three kernels on a Gutsy Gibbon 'clean' installation:

2.6.20-16 (feisty)
2.6.22-14 (standard)
2.6.24-3 (from hardy)

I was using the nvidia driver 100.14xxx, but now i'm using the newest one (169.07.xxx), and having the same problem... just the kernels make some difference:

I'm using the Firefox 2.0.11, Ubufox, everything "clean":

Using the 2.6.20, the firefox crashes after one or two videos.
Using the 2.6.22, it crashes as 2.6.20, but when i force it to quit and open again, it works very well(not always, sometimes i have to repeat the proccess).
Using the 2.6.24, no crashes at all, but i'd just used it a little.

I need to use the kernel 2.6.20, cause my modem's driver don't work with new ones, just up to 2.6.22 :(.

Sorry my english guys :( :( :( :(

Sorry man, but this entry isn't available in the "Help" menu!... there's just:

[ Help Contents / Release Notes / Report Broken Website / Report Web
Forgery / | / Check for Updates / | / About Mozilla Firefox ]

Thankyou very much for the help! :D

Sorry my english.

dear "friend", Thankyou very much, but i've formatted my hd, and
reinstalled Ubuntu via live-CD and now i'm using just one kernel (the
standard one), the "Report a Problem" entry now is available at the
Firefox's "Help" menu. The first thing i do after the installation is
to install all the available updates, and now i can post the
additional information requested before :D

Thanks for the help... next time it crashes i'll submit at the
launchpad (tomorrow i'll test).

Thankyou. :-D

Sorry man, i didn't know that my emails would appear here =/.

After call "Report a Problem" entry, a tab browsing launchpad appeared, and the line "Extra debug information will be added to the bug report automatically." was there... what it means? do i have to report a "new" bug to send the information?
I'm sending the -strace.log-.

Sorry my english =/

Yes, its easiest to just open a new bug through the Report a Problem
menu entry.
