Bug Description

This is in Kmail for KUBUNTU 7.10. I have a message that cannot be read or deleted from the inbox. No matter what action I request nothing happens.

Could you supply the version of Ubuntu (cat /etc/issue) and the version of kmail (dpkg-query -W kaddressbook) ?

I have the same problem in kmail on hardy.

$ dpkg-query -W kmail
kmail 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu3

The inbox is where mail fetched via POP goes (i.e. not an imap one), and poking around in .kde/share/apps/kmail I can't see the message anywhere. But kmail insists that it's there, but I can't read nor delete it.

Typically ... I find it in ~/Mail moments after posting above. I'll hang on to the file and the index for a few days if anyone is interested in a copy (it's just unexciting spam).

Probably a simple cache error.
If this is not resolved in KDE 4.1.1's KMail it's definitely going to be for the first version of KMail which uses Akonadi as storage backend.
