Bug Description

Kde crashes very often. Using my kde configuration (for 3.5.6), kdm starts, kde loads everything, and crashed. I removed my .kde/ directory in order to use default settings: kde starts, but I can't say what I click to make it crash! Compiz settings, firefox.. I don't know and I'm afraid to loose what I'm writing now clicking somewhere.

bye

Christian

Thanks for your report.

Could you confirm that this still occurs on the final gutsy release? Beta or pre-beta distributions can be unstable. You can upgrade your system with the commands:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Your KDE Version should then be 3.5.8

Please give us notice even you still have this problems after that.

Thanks
