Beagle and Find files not working!

Bug Description

Binary package hint: disksearch

Applications 'Places>Search files' and 'Beagle' don't search for files on the disk even i indexed the root directory!
The only place they search is desktop.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 RC or later?

no, it was only a Dapper issue.
