Bug Description

Each time I run a gtk-application from the GNOME terminal I get:

(gedit:8043): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by Xlib

(gedit:8043): Gdk-WARNING **: cannot set locale modifiers

-- Replace "gedit" with the program that I'm trying to run.

My LANG variable says en_DK.UTF-8 if it is of any help. I am running an english
installation with a Danish keybord. Everything /seems/ to work though...

Do you have the package "language-pack-en" installed? If not, install it and
see if that helps.

Nope, this is actually my bug; X needs a locale mapping for en_DK*.

Bug still valid after todays updates. I have both language-pack-en and

This is not fixed in the latest Breezy. My locale is en_US. I have the latest
updates as of today. My issue is identical to the intial report.

Please give the output of

  locale -a

and

  locale

and attach your /etc/locale.gen here.
