Bug Description

Hello,

I try to send e-mail directly from openoffice with the « send a PDF attached »
option. But, it need a bit configuration to work correctly. I reach to send an
e-mail with ooo one and two. The default preference need just to be correctly set.

To reproduce the bug, just get an out-of-the box ooo shipped with ubuntu (warty
or hoary doesn't matter). Open or write a document. Select File > Send > Send as
E-mail or Send as PDF Attachment ... Then it give you an error and refer you to
the setup.

With ooo1, set the Auxiliary programm to "Evolution 1.4 or later" and the path
to "evolution". With ooo2, just set the path to evolution in Options > Internet
> E-mail > E-mail program.

Thanks.

Chris, is this something which could be safely fixed for Hoary (in both branches)?

It can be fixed, yes, although the suggested solution is not optimal since it will not work under Kubuntu. So
far we solved this by creating a script that OOo executes, and the script decides what actually needs
executing. See for example ooo-build/patches/OOO_1_1/sensible-browser.diff in the oo11 deb package source for
a patch that does a similar thing for the browser setting

Fixed indeed - but I found another bug with it, reported as bug #26516
