Bug Description

Binary package hint: apturl

Synaptic is currently required for apturl to function. I would like to see Adept support added for Kubuntu users.

It's very important!
On Kubuntu, ubufox (gutsy default) required apturl. Apturl required gksu,synaptic,gconf2 ecc...

Adept is not used any longer. Instead support for install-package was added (long term target is to enhance kpackagekit and use it to replace install-package all over Kubuntu).

status: Confirmed → Won't Fix
