[Gutsy Tribe 3] Firestarter shutting down - Memory error

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firestarter

In Kubuntu Gutsy Tribe 3, Firestarter shuts down with the following error:
/bin/sh: /usr/bin/esd: not found <-- has around 14 lines
***MEMORY-ERROR***: firestarter[5973]: GSlice: assertion failed: sinfo->n_allocated > 0
Firewall started

Firestarter would work for a few minutes at a time, around 10-15mins then shuts down with the said error.

There's an update to Firestarter today, and I just upgraded. I'll be monitoring Firestarter and see if this is still an issue.

Nah, the update wasn't meant for this bug. Tried it a dozen times and each time, Firestarter exits with same memory error.

It seems that this bug has already been reported, failed to see it during search.
