Bug Description

Hi guys,

i am about to prepare a debian-installer update for feisty and just noticed that feisty-updates pocket does
not have any udeb. The Release file and main/debian-installer under feisty-updates are missing.

This is wrong. All the sections should be populated even if there are no files for them.

In this specific case debian-installer package would FTBFS because the Release file does not contain the proper section.

Fabio

PS I will need this problem addressed within a week or two otherwise it will stall some other activities.

Confirmed, although I don't see why it should stall anything because debian-installer can trivially be modified not to look at the pocket in question.

This is marked as fixed, but some pockets from the current development series have no udebs and no indices for them either; e.g. precise-proposed or precise-security have empty indices for main, universe etc. but not for debian-installer/main, debian-installer/universe etc.

Yes. They'll get published and stay published as soon as anything else
is published to those pockets, or when a careful publisher run is done
by hand. I felt it would be too complicated to try to deal with this in
Launchpad itself; if it's a significant issue for you we could do a
careful publisher run to fix it up.

It is not a "significant issue" for me, was just making sure that the original bug had been addressed; thanks for confirming!
