Upon starting, aap runs some recipe self-tests and the errors in recipes do not seem to be handled properly. The attached patch should fix the problem.

This bug has already been fixed upstream. Gutsy and Hardy have version 1.072 (Oct. 2004) while latest version is 1.090 (Aug. 2007). The package should synchronized.

The new versions were not pulled in because there is no newer upstream package in Debian unstable. I suggest to anyone who wants this fixed to contact Cory Dodt, as he's the upstream Maintainer for aap.

See: http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?<email address hidden>

It's too late for Hardy though, but may be worth the effort for Intrepid (aka Hardy+1).
