not exactly sure how to describe this, but the boxes for my application windows
seem to size randomly.

as you can see this has 6 "large" boxes.

you can specify the minimum and maximal size for the applet. What kind of behaviour
are you expecting ?

look at the sizes of the boxes. They are changing sizes. i.e. the small
"boxes" are actually less windows (5) while the large boxes have more windows (6).

it seems somewhat dependent on the maximum amount of text inside all the boxes.

yeah, and you would prefer a fix size ? How small ? How do you put 1 or 20 apps
in the same place ?

I'm unsure what the "correct"(tm) solution is, but "random" (well not so random,
in looking at the pics I attached, it seems to be a percentage of the largest
text string) seems wrong. If you disagree, that's fine I'll live with it.

that's not than a disagree, but if you any idea of improvement describe it
(that's what I asked in the previous comment). Perhaps you can set a fixed size
to the applet by configuring the min/max to the same value ?
