Yes the K800i does support obex FTP and has previously worked fine in 7.10, 8.04 (early Hardy) and at first in early kernel 2.6.28-11 (see above). I've just tried a Motorola phone and get the same problem as previously reported (org.openobex.Error.Connection.Refused).
