Clicking on save doesn't save

Hello,

I understand this is a baby software, don't worry.

I tried your suggested branch:

- you get a syntax error when running main.py. It's 'import' written twice and can be fixed easily.
- now the entry are perfectly listed
- the menu still doesn't appear after saving

even after a logoff? can you send us the created .desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications/?

The .desktop file doesn't seems to be modified at all.

I can confirm that what isatis39871 also occurs for me starting with bzr rev 55

Updated to rev. 56 and it does not seem to be fixed. Does not save new Quicklists.

I think the problem is when you have an empty group inside the .desktop
file, or when an item is listed in the X-Ayatana-Desktop-Shortcuts without a
group entry.

The fix will be release with a new way to add Launcher entries soon.

Thanks! That tipped me to the right direction. Via root I discovered this error, No such file or directory: '/home/gary/.local/share/applications/ubiquity-gtkui.desktop' when trying to save new quicklist. I simply created an empty file in that path with that name. Now I can save without error. Much appreciated!
