Bug Description

The bluetooth symbol on the panel is deaktivated (also dark grey). I can't use my usb bluetooth dongle with Dicota bluetooth mouse. The mashine is a Asus UL30VT with natty 64 Beta 2 + every day update. After booting no bluetooth symbols are on the panel and it is not possible to start bluetooth service and connect bluetooth. The bluetooth packages are installed. No problems in Maverick

If you test this with a mainline kernel, as outlined here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/MainlineBuilds, do you still see this issue? We'd like to use this to narrow what could be a regression. Please report back here and set the bug to confirmed state.

Hi Jeremy,
today i installed a Mainline Kernel ->http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.39-rc3-natty/linux-image-2.6.39-020639rc3-generic_2.6.39-020639rc3.201104120912_amd64.deb

I think the issue is going on. The Bluetooth symbol on the panel is there, also it is activated. But there is no connection with the showed bluetooth mouse (Dicota BlueLight). Nothing happends If i push connect.

If i disable and enable bluetooth using the Buttons on the panel i get a failure message: Operation already in progress.
I close this message and than the bluetooth symbol goes crazy, it begins to blinking. I can´ t stop this before i put out the dongle.
I hope my report is useful for you and other.

I add the new attachments. i can´ t get run the ubuntu-bug -p linux script because the mainline kernel. Do you need some files?
