I'm not actually sure what's causing this, but I do have some additional information now. Whenever I do an sbuild I get this message when the build completes. Given that the warning is coming from aufs, that makes some sense. I haven't observed any actual problems caused by this - all my schroots still seem to work fine and sbuild is happy. The only problem seems to be the warning that comes up every time.
