Bug Description

Hi,

after resuming from suspend, keyboard repeat is not working anymore in X11/gnome,
i.e. I see only a single character when keeping a key pressed for a long time.
System is a Lenovo T400.

The problem occurred after dist-upgrading a few days ago, which pulled in
the 2.6.32-30.59 kernel. I can fix it manually with:

   gconftool-2 -s -t int /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/rate 38

The problem is not present if I boot into the previous 2.6.32-29.58 kernel.

I'll report back whether the text console is affected, too.

Yours,
Steffen

I was not able to reproduce this bug with kernel 2.6.32-30.59 on a laptop HP Compaq nx8220. Could be a hardware-specific resume problem.
