Ubuntu cannot be resumed from suspend-to-RAM

Bug Description

Hi, I upgraded Ubuntu, new kernel new kernel had been installed (latest official maverick from updates) but my Ubuntu stopped working properly. After suspend-to-RAM, it does particulary wake up, but without screen (LCD monitor of laptop). Screen is black and without anything so I have to switch it off by button and it is not OK.

I also tried latest kernel from ubuntu kernel website, I think it is 2.6.35-11 or something like that, but no difference. Newer kernels here are unfortunately for natty.

Thanks, seems resolved by using proprietary drivers. Should I still include Debugging ACPI info to help opensource drivers be better? Or just close this bug report...?
