We are closing this bug report as it didn't get any recent duplicate or comment and we think it has probably been fixed in a new version, but feel free to report a new bug if you still get issue after upgrading

If I understand correctly, the crash comes from a video card that is missing features/not supported. So those users (like me) could simply be staying away. I will come back if I can deliver some real test results.

Ulrik, segfault is not proper error handling anyway.
I think I didn't get this crash last time I booted the machine that got it all the time, so it must be fixed indeed.

if you still get the crash please submit a new bug using the dialog which is diplayed after the crash,it should have the details of your configuration
