Bug Description

(Warning: I'm new to bug reporting ;))
When trying to connect to a wireless network my computer freezes. It improved somewhat over the last update; before my computer would just completely cease operation, now the indicator is still spinning for a bit before I have to power off my PC. The wireless in question is a WPA2 Personal. I have an Asus EEE PC 1001P. It worked out of the box with maverick.

Hello
In the logs I can see only a problem with eth0 (wired) connection.
If you have problems with wireless then please disconnect the network cable then try to connect to the wireless and if your pc freeze again then reboot, reattach the cable, then attach here, using add attachment or patch button below, these files:
/var/log/syslog
/var/log/syslog.1
/var/log/kern.log
/var/log/kern.log.1
Thanks

Yes but the patch has not yet been delivered with ubuntu updates.
I fixed it for me by installing a newer kernel vom the ubuntu mainline ppa: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.38.5-natty/
