Bug Description
On my hardware Maverick sometimes fails to resume from suspend. This happens with varying frequency: sometimes I can go for a few days (with 2-3 sleep/wake cycles per day) and other times it happens several times per day. I have to hit the power button to force a shutdown, then wait, then reboot.
It never gets to the point of activating the screen or an external monitor, and does not respond to CTRL-ALT-Delete.
The laptop used to suspend/resume reliably with Maverick. However, in one respect Maverick is an improvement: under both Karmic and Lucid, it would often take ~20 seconds to resume. With Maverick, when it works, it resumes essentially instantly.
I've saved a couple of extra files (kern.log and syslog), if you want them. After it failed to wake one time (Feb 13 11:54:01), I did have one reboot to fix an apparently-
