Bug Description
From time to time, it happens that I hibernate the system, and it apparently hibernates succesfully (power goes off automatically and no error message is displayed); yet next time I turn on the computer, it does not resume but does a fresh boot instead, as if it had simply been shut down.
This does not happen always: sometimes it hibernates and resumes correctly; sometimes it shows other problems related to hibernation, described in #715855 and #715850 (always the same machine)

Since I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.10 this got fixed for me.
Now I am just confused about the meaning of "Long Term Support"
