Bug Description
This happens from time to time, not always, apparently at random.
From the dropdown menu with a power-on/off-like icon on the top-right corner of the screen in ubuntu I select "Hibernate". Instead of hibernating, it simply locks screen (the same as when you select "lock screen").
Sometimes, instead, it hibernates correctly.
This can also happen when the system automatically hibernates because the battery is low.

On the very same system I also suffer from bug #715850
Sometimes one thing happens, sometimes the other (and sometimes it exhibits other issues, and sometimes it even hibernates correctly).
I was told to file a separate bug for each issue.
