Bug Description
10.04 suspend/hibernate worked beautifully on this Toshiba U300. Stock ubuntu kernels all the way to the day I dist-upgraded to 10.10.
The default kernels in 10.10 do not suspend/resume correctly. No specific errors in pm-suspend.log. It appears that entering suspend works fine, but it wakes up *immediately* and I'm at a fb console with the standard login prompt, but the computer's frozen solid. none of the 10.10 kernel updates have resolved this, and the regression has carried forward into the 11.04 alpha release of Ubuntu.

Can we confirm this bug still exists in the latest Maverick, it would also be helpful to test a Natty LiveCD as well to see how that fairs. Please report back here.
