Bug Description

Hi, I am running Ubuntu 10.10 in a Virtualbox 3.2.8 virtual machine.

After installing Ubuntu 10.10, I updated all packages, and then tried to install the linux-virtual package. I got the attached error message.

This succeeded in Ubuntu 10.04, but fails in 10.10. This is for a project that is sharing virtual machines across many desktop computers.

Besides the bug, is this an intended use of this package?

This happens regardless of whether the guest extensions are installed or not.

This is still happening in the new ubuntu kernel update to 2.6.32-27

The regular kernel works in vbox 3.2.8 (distro version), but

sudo apt-get install kernel-virtual kernel-headers-virtual

Then reboot causes the attached error.
