In my amd64 machine with Ubuntu 10.04 the shortcut <control>+F works fine. But I confirmed the bug in a 32bits computer with 10.10 so it seems to be a regression.

The shortcut works perfect in a kernel 2.6.32-26-generic x86_64 with software-center v2.0.7

I am reopening. This has been broken again in Natty for a bit but I've held off to see if it would get fixed.

I am running 3.1.26.1 and <ctrl>+F will bring up an in-text search box at the bottom right and not focus to the search box.

I can't figure out how to add software-center (Ubuntu Natty) to the pile of affected items. I could use some help :)
