A continuous stream of pulseaudio-related messages in /var/log/syslog

All kinds of warnings/errors appear in /var/log/syslog. Mostly this:

This seems to be related to an issue where thunderbird hangs for 10-20 seconds when right clicking.
It started just recently, I think after the 23 November Ubuntu upgrades. (Possibly on +- 1 day).
