Serious kernel error occured when transmission was downloading data. No visible error/change, just the error notification in the system tray

Bug Description

Download on going using transmission. The system's uptime was 8+ hours. The error notification appeared in the system tray. No visible crash/change appeared in the application or any other application for that matter. The problem eludes me.

You've indicated that this is a regression - did you not run into this kernel oops with Lucid on the same hardware when performing the same activity? Thanks in advance.
