while updating system this error happened.
Sorry, it runs while I was busy with other things, normally this runs very smooth without user interaction.

I recommend performing a back up and then investigating the situation. Measures you might take include checking cable connections and using software tools to investigate the health of your hardware. Hi Brian,

thank you for analysing my hardware.
You are possibly right, the other day I tried to read a DVD. It may be
the DVD reader.
But I did not investigate further.
Keep up with your good work. I love to have a problem-free OS.
