Bug Description

Today, October 16, 2010, I launched Update Manager(Ubuntu Maverick 10.10) and there was an update available. It told me than only a partial upgrade could be performed. I chose this option. The installation of this update caused Evolution Mail Program and Calandar (that I use) to be removed from my system. I do not believe this should have occurred. I restored my system to a prior Maverick backup, and tried again. The same thing occurred. I am not sure what might be wrong, if anything, with my sysem. I have kept up-to-date on all Maverick updates. I thought since this occurred twice, under the same circumstances, that I would report it.

I re-installed the 10/16/2010 update in segments today. The last segment, (all updates) installed correctly,lt, with no problem and/or removal of Evolution.
